JG VanDenKooy is a writer, composer, and designer. Also, he likes math and secretly hopes to be an accountant when he grows up.
For now, he writes stories, designs books, and writes music for dancers.

Jesse is a graduate from The Herb Alpert School of Music (BFA 15) and the School of Critical Studies (MFA 17) at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). He studied composition with Michael Pisaro, Karen Tanaka, Marc Lowenstein, and Anne LeBaron. He was mentored by Brian Evenson and Janet Sarbanes during his time in the graduate writing program at CalArts.
